Groups Of Youths Commit Robberies, Assaults In South Jersey: Police

Police in Bridgeton are investigating a series of robberies and assaults involving groups of juveniles, authorities said.

Between Sunday and Monday, Bridgeton Police said they had nine reports of groups of young people assaulting victims. In some cases, the juveniles allegedly stole hundreds of dollars in cash.

In several cases, the suspects were wearing all black.

In another case, one black male was wearing a gray hoodie, a second black male was wearing a white sweatshirt, a third black male was wearing a black sweater, and another was an unknown dark-colored hoodie. 

Several of the victims required hospitalization for facial injuries.
